Dr. Michael Manning

Pronouns: He/Him

Dr. Manning’s passion for medicine began in childhood, inspired by his mother and grandmother’s work in hospitals and wartime settings. From lifeguarding and EMT training to owning a nutrition business, his path always circled back to prevention—leading him to naturopathic medicine and a focus on pediatric and whole-family health.

 Philosophy:
Dr. Manning believes patients are the captains of their health journey—he’s the navigator. Using evidence-informed practice (blending research, clinical expertise, and patient values), he collaborates with families to create sustainable plans. His care is rooted in naturopathic principles, social determinants of health, and a commitment to weight-inclusive, trauma-informed primary care.

 Clinical Focuses:

  • Pediatric & Family-Centered (well-child visits, adult primary care, chronic disease support)

  • Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health (biomarker optimization, lifespan prevention)

  • Physical Medicine (musculoskeletal pain, injury recovery, trigger point injection, spinal/cranial/visceral manipulation)

  • Environmental Medicine (immune resilience in modern environments)

  • Nutrition Counseling (pediatric and chronic disease support)

  • Mind-Body Medicine (progressive muscle relaxation, breath retraining, autogenic training, mindfulness)

When not in the clinic, Dr. Manning can be found foraging in the woods, traveling with his partner, or humming old choir tunes in the hallway.
