Dr. Kelly Bowen

Dr. Kelly is a naturopathic physician practicing within the Health At Every Size (HAES) model. She sees patients of all genders ages 13 and up, though can work with younger patients on a case by case basis. Dr. Kelly offers primary care services as well as support for eating disorder recovery and physical medicine/body work. She has additional training in Visceral Manipulation, Craniosacral Therapy and Trigger Point Injection Therapy. 

Dr. Kelly believes that our orientation to stress, movement, body and food strongly affects our health. With this approach and a diverse skill set, she collaborates with patients to create manageable, workable treatment plans that engage both mind and body. Her goal is to empower patients to better meet their own needs and thus be able better meet the needs of their communities. 

Before studying at Bastyr, Dr. Kelly completed a self-designed Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Theology and Spanish at Seattle Pacific University. After graduating she traveled to a clinic in Nicaragua for a two-month internship with Natural Doctors International, where she witnessed the effectiveness of naturopathic medicine in low resource settings. After her five year medical education at Bastyr University she completed a two year residency at One Connection Healthcare. She looks forward to continuing at One Connection, especially as the team of body positive providers continues to grow.
