About Dr. Bryan Stockton
I’m Dr. Bryan Stockton (he/him), a naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist providing integrative, individualized care in Washington and California.
I work with patients navigating complex medical histories, chronic conditions, and those who want to take a more intentional approach to long-term health and longevity.
Many patients come to me after trying multiple approaches without clear answers. Some are looking for a more comprehensive, systems-based perspective. Others are ready to move beyond symptom management and build a more durable foundation for their health.
My approach blends traditional and holistic systems with modern biomedicine, using each where it is most effective. Rather than focusing on isolated symptoms, I work to restore balance across physical, mental, emotional, and biochemical systems—supporting meaningful, lasting change in how you feel and function.
My Clinical Philosophy
Hi, I’m Dr. Bryan Stockton (He/Him), a naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist providing integrative and individualized care in Washington and California. I work with patients navigating complex medical histories, chronic conditions, and those looking to take a more intentional approach to long-term health and longevity.
My approach blends traditional and holistic systems with modern biomedicine, using each where it’s most effective. The goal is to restore balance across physical, mental, emotional, and biochemical systems, not just manage symptoms, but create durable change that improves how you feel and function.
Care is collaborative and based on shared decision-making, with your goals and priorities kept at the center of the process.
My care model is centered around building a comprehensive understanding of your health and using that foundation to guide individualized treatment.
Initial visits are 90 minutes and focused on developing a detailed, holistic picture of your health, concerns, and goals. From there, we begin identifying which interventions may be appropriate and whether additional testing is needed.
Follow-up visits continue to build on that foundation, with greater emphasis on treatment and long-term progress.
I practice medicine from a foundational perspective, prioritizing the habits, behaviors, and lifestyle factors that actually drive health. Modern biomedicine has an important role, but it is most effective when used at the right time and for the right reasons, not as a default starting point.
My approach developed from seeing the limitations of more conventional models, where care is often reduced to algorithms that overlook individual nuance. Symptom management alone is not the same as meaningful change. My focus is on helping patients create the conditions for lasting improvement in a way that is both practical and sustainable.
My Care Model
Depending on your needs, care may include:
Nutrition and dietary strategies
Movement and exercise guidance
Herbal medicine and supplementation
Mindfulness and behavior change practices
Acupuncture and hands-on therapies
Injection-based treatments
Pharmaceuticals when appropriate
Clinical Experience & Research Background
I completed my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington, where my training focused on both modern biomedical science and traditional systems of medicine.
Prior to that, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science from Bastyr University and became a licensed massage therapist through Bellevue Massage School. This early clinical training continues to inform how I approach the body, particularly in understanding the relationship between structure, movement, and overall health.
Following graduation, I continued my clinical development through residency training at One Connection Healthcare, where I continue to practice today. I also pursue ongoing continuing education across my clinical areas of focus, with a commitment to learning that directly informs and strengthens my patient care.
Collaborative Care at Seattle’s One Connection Healthcare
Through my integrative approach, along with collaboration with the other providers at One Connection Healthcare, we are able to offer patients an extraordinary range of services within a single clinic.
This model allows patients to receive comprehensive, coordinated care that addresses multiple dimensions of health while maintaining continuity within a trusted medical home.
What Keeps Me Joyful
Outside of clinical care, I enjoy teaching students, lecturing at conferences, and supporting the continued growth of the profession of Naturopathic Medicine.
I find my own medicine in the outdoors, exploring nature, skiing in the mountains, and spending time with my family. Supporting and raising my children remains one of the most meaningful parts of my life.
