Kailina Mastroianni, L.Ac., M.Ac.O.M.

Pronouns: she/her/hers

Kailina is a licensed acupuncture and eastern medicine practitioner in the state of Washington. She graduated from The Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (M.Ac.O.M.) and is Board certified in Acupuncture and Herbal medicine through the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is also a certified acupuncture detoxification specialist through the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association in a form of auricular acupuncture used to treat substance dependence, addictions and trauma.

She aims to meet people where they are at in their lives and healing journeys and prioritizes a patient-centered approach to care. She enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions, including digestion and gastrointestinal concerns, mental and emotional health, sleep issues, reproductive health concerns (menstrual-related concerns in particular), adjunctive cancer care (including relief from chemo, radiation, and medication side-effects), musculoskeletal injuries and pain, and more.

She has been receiving acupuncture treatments since she was eight years old for a variety of health concerns as well as for general health maintenance. Although she knew from early on that she wanted to work in the healthcare field, her experiences directly receiving acupuncture and utilizing traditional Chinese herbal medicine, as well as her own research and learning about the medicine led her to pursue a career in acupuncture and east asian medicine.

She has a gentle needling style and approach to treatment that focuses on mitigating stress to the body so that the body’s own healing mechanisms can function more optimally. She believes that acupuncture can play an important role in reminding people how to listen to and regain trust in their bodies on a holistic level and looks forward to facilitating that journey with her patients.
