Dr. Claire Hannes received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 2020.  During her medical training to become a primary care physician, Dr. Hannes completed additional training in eating disorder prevention and treatment with her mentor, Dr. Lily Stokely, and later completed a two year naturopathic residency with Dr. Stokely at One Connection Healthcare. She now specializes in outpatient medical management of eating disorders in addition to offering weight-inclusive primary care.  

 Dr. Hannes practices from a Health at Every Size® perspective and aims to support her patients in fostering a deeper connection to their bodies’ inherent wisdom. She strives to support her patients from a trauma-informed lens while holding awareness of the various systemic inequities perpetuated by the current medical system. She welcomes people of all genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds into her practice.

  Dr. Hannes enjoys addressing a variety of health concerns with a wide toolkit. As a naturopathic physician she is trained in both conventional and natural medicine and aims to treat the root cause by considering all aspects of a person’s health. Areas of special interest include hormonal, gastrointestinal, mental/emotional, and musculoskeletal issues. Dr. Hannes  practiced as a licensed massage therapist during her medical training and now employs multiple physical medicine modalities while treating pain and injury, including targeted soft-tissue work, trigger point injections, and spinal adjustments.

Dr. Hannes is a Seattle native and in her free time loves playing basketball, discovering new music, writing, and snuggling her sweet cat, Bella.WA
