Community Acupuncture

Dr. Eliza is now offering community acupuncture for her established patients on Thursday afternoons! Coming together in community can be supportive for everyone's nervous system, and can amplify the effect of treatment. This is also a great way to help stretch insurance benefits through the year, while still getting some extra nervous system support in between individual treatments. Cost will be on a sliding scale that we hope will be accessible for everyone who wants to join; contributing what you can afford is another way of helping to participate in the community. The hope is that this will be a relaxed, cozy, friendly, and nurturing environment that patients and Dr. Eliza co-create together. 

How does it work? Patients will be seen in one room together with each person either seated in a recliner or laying face up on a massage table, depending on your preference. Dr. Eliza will offer individual treatments based on your ongoing plan with her, so there won't be discussion of your personal symptoms or history in the group space. Everyone will always be fully clothed during community treatments, and Dr. Eliza will choose easy to access points on the arms, legs, head and neck, so it is best to wear loose, comfortable clothing. Since up to 5 people will be relaxing together at a time, masking is encouraged and there will be air purification running in the room. 

Scheduling for community acupuncture is now open for Dr. Eliza's patients. If you are interested in community acupuncture but haven't seen Dr. Eliza before, please schedule an individual intake appointment with her to establish care. She usually recommends getting at least one individual treatment after the intake visit, before starting community acupuncture treatments, as well as continuing individual treatments at regular intervals. If you are already an established patient of Dr. Eliza’s you can call to schedule for community acupuncture when ready. Please note we do not have online scheduling available for community acupuncture so calling is necessary. Alternatively you may message the front desk team through the charm portal.

Pricing: $60 standard price with equity pricing available. You may pay as you can for each session between $30-$60 and payment is collected upon check-in to your appointment on day of service. Those who are able to pay the full price are supporting the sustainability of providing low cost community acupuncture.
